Salam

Reading time is everywhere and every time for my kids. Sometimes it depends also with their mood. Kadang2 hari rajin sgt nak baca, kadang2 nak buka buku langsung malas weih..

Kalau balik umah Atuk, mmm selalunya lagi le malas dua beradik ni.

Pulak tu, Wan suka ikut aje apa dua beradik ni nak.

Kadang2 mau gak diorang baca…

Tengok le aksi Azzalea. Dari duduk tegak, sampai le terbaring kat Atuk.

Atuk plak, baca je. Tah apa yg Azzalea dengar tah.

Aksi ni tak lama. Rasanya ada la dalam 15 minit. Lepas tu Azzalea hilang pi mana tah…

Islamic Relief was established in 1984 and our unique approach is the result of these many years of hands-on experience.

1. Where possible we adopt a community partnership-based approach; encouraging community involvement, understanding and ownership of projects.
2. We run the majority of our field projects ourselves, giving us direct insight into the problems faced and how best to solve them.
3. We aim to empower those we help in order to achieve sustainable results.
4. Though our emergency response teams are quick to respond to emergencies around the world, we continue to support communities long after the initial media interest has died down.
5. We recruit staff locally to benefit from their local knowledge. This ensures that we are culturally sensitive and allows us to reach communities and areas other organisations cannot.
6. Where necessary we coordinate our work with other reputable aid agencies, local organisations and governments.

MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Islamic Relief is committed to the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which have been agreed by the world’s leading development institutions in an effort to meet the needs of the world’s poorest by the year 2015.

3. Promote gender equality and empower women
4. Reduce child mortality
5. Improve maternal health
6. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases
7. Ensure environmental sustainability
8. Develop a global partnership for development

Projek Perpustakaan Rumah Anak Yatim Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM) adalah salah satu usaha IRM untuk menubuhkan perpustakaan di rumah anak-anak yatim di Malaysia dan di kawasan serantau. Projek ini merupakan projek pembangunan ilmu (pendidikan) dan kebajikan anak-anak yatim. Ini adalah usaha IRM untuk memupuk minat membaca dikalangan anak-anak dan juga langkah penyelesaian kepada kekurangan bahan-bahan bacaan yang bermutu dan berkeadaan baik. Paham2 ajelah keadaan buku yang didermakan oleg orang perseorangan…

Melalui projek ini, IRM dapat menyediakan bahan-bahan bacaan yang lebih baik dan bermutu iaitu buku-buku baru. Selain daripada itu, kelengkapan lain disediakan seperti rak buku, permaidani dan kusyen untuk menambahkan keselesaan kepada ruangan perpustakaan itu. Projek ini telah dimulakan sejak tahun 2008. 4 buah perpustakaan rumah anak-anak yatim telah berjaya ditubuhkan setelah mendapat pembiayaan dari orang ramai, tajaan dari pihak2 berkenaan dan juga geran dari organisasi korporat Malaysia.

Pada tahun 2010, IRM mensasarkan 10 buah perpustakaan ditubuhkan. Sehingga post ini dibuat, 2 buah rumah anak-anak yatim telah berjaya disiapkan, iaitu Pertubuhan Anak Yatim & Kebajikan Darul ‘Izzah, Bangi, Selangor pada 6 Mac 2010 dan Rumah Anak Yatim Taman Baiduri, Dengkil, Selangor pada 13 Mac 2010.

IRM mengalu-alukan sumbangan dana daripada orang ramai dan organisasi korporat di dalam menjayakan projek perpustakaan rumah anak yatim IRM. Alhamdulillah. Today, we managed to finish our first day of training. Become a first-time trainee give me such a huge new experience and responsibility. Previously I always went to training session. Just received everything that the trainee told me. But now it totally different.

I have to deliver the things  and make sure the participants understand what we were saying.Huhuhu… It was hard. They almost made me cry. So, let see if I can burst my tears tomorrow.

p/s : Ma admitted at HSNZ. Ya Allah, permudahkanlah urusan baginya. Sembuhkanlah penyakit yang sedang dihadapi oleh hambamu ini.
